Honestly I couldn't picture having backgrounds in the last two panels. It didn't feel fitting.

Those panels stress to me something I told an offline friend the other day. He's an artist too and wanting to start doing comic work himself but he's never dabbled in it before. I told him I thought having a background in traditional animation helps. Why so .. well I can't speak for other comic artists, but I think learning to draw step by step shifting poses is useful. Before taking up creating homemade comics ages back. I out of boredom and normally some time during the school day. I'd on one paper draw overlapping movement cycles for animals & sometimes people.

Quick shifts of what is taking place is also something I tackle writing differently. Every action part in these stories was done with some serious sit down time of getting though jotting them down in one go. Thing is when they hit me, I have to write them that way because then I can piece together the whole sequence with ease.
